Although in summer it seemed that the season was not particularly favorable, then a long period of sunny days has extended perhaps as never before harvesting and the findings of the winery were so convincing that the Consortium for the protection of Bardolino has decided to propose that who had ever dared in its forty-year history: a touchstone of taste, which presents a preview of the vintage 2008, when still not all the wines are bottled.

The chassis of Bardolino sampling in 2008 and its pink version, the Chiaretto 2008, will take place on Sunday March 8, from 10.00 to 18.00, in Lazise, Verona on the banks of Lake Garda, in the historical building of the Dogana Veneta, facing the harbor, next to the Romanesque church of San Nicolò. More than one hundred wines for tasting, almost equally divided between red and Bardolino Chiaretto rose, some companies will offer the public the possibility of a comparative tasting between the years 2007 and 2008.

The event is open to the public and given the non-random coincidence with Woman's Day, chosen for the consonance with the femininity of Chiaretto, will be dedicated to the ladies thought a small flower.
